What are the 3 buttons besides the crown? Or are they design?

No. After watching the woman struggle with putting on the watch case back using a watch press...I think I may need to buy one before I start to muck around with battery replacements.

Today, I wore a Seiko 5 Sport.

Love that Seiko! :like:

Case back presses aren't hard to use. It has the skill level of a coloring book in my opinion. Most peole just don't know how to use the press, don't want to take the time to change the nylon discs, and/or don't have the right nylon discs that come with the press to do the job.

She knew what she was doing. That chronograph was difficult to put back on. I can see why I might need a watch back case press.

They are not buttons but bolts that hold the outer shroud over the watch. Probably why this watch has the nickname of "Frankenmonster".

1964 Bulova Accutron Spaceview today. :)

I've been saying it was a 1967 Spaceview for a while. It is actually a 1964 model(M4 date code). I already knew that, but some wires got crossed, because another one of my Accutrons is a 1967 model.
