I've wearing the new watch band since yesterday's mail delivery. Really happy to have the same style watch band that I wore many years ago.

Why is that marko  :tu:
Vostok: reliable mechanism (work horse),service time once in ten years according to manufacturer, it can work much longer without service I tested it,cheap parts when something need to be replaced, when you hold watch feels tank build, than when  unscrew crown there is a felling tahat it would fall off,it won't,those are some cool characteristic, water resistant 200m,it means that you can actually dive with it (also tested) you can modify watch with different parts...
Casio G-shock that's pretty much easy it's indestructible.I didn't have attention to disrespect  any one who likes Invicta watches, cheers.

Thanks for your thoughts.

I'm not really into the styling of G-Shocks, after trying them a few times.  Plus digital and plastic are on my "naughty" list ;)

The 8926 has a Seiko NH35 movement and 200M water resist, so I would trust it based upon what I've read, I think.  I guess its possible they could screw up the water resistance, but the Seiko movement should be solid.

You are right about Seiko inside ,but overall built quality is not on Invicta side, Ivicta is in my opinion fashion watch, cheers.

Will be wearing this on Sunday. The Invicta Grand Diver Automatic again. :)

Just curious, what are your thoughts on the invicta automatic divers?  My local sam's club has an 8926 for $55, which seems like a great price, especially considering it has a Seiko movement.

I'm not 100% keen on the homage looks (or the look of the original submariner, really), but I'm wondering if its a good enough watch considering the small outlay of cash?
They're worth the money for sure.  :tu:

I don't worry about the homage looks, because many brands of sub-$100 divers are styled similarly. :)

I must say I like invictas, I have at least 6, 3 on which are automatic, but my only problem is I’ll put it down then not wear it for a few days and since it’s not wound up I’ll have to reset it..

Got the victorinox chronograph from the ongoing Amazon sale.

Not a bad watch for what is essentially Timex money. I'll likely return it though, as it just doesn't "speak" to me.

Today's watch. Wish it was real. I bought it because I wanted the bracelet for my Breitling 1809. Would have to modify it some(remove about 1/8th of an inch from the attachment pieces to fit the 1809 frame)and haven't had the heart to do it. Paid $50 for it in a nearby pawn shop. Probably worth a couple hundred anyway.

Nice watch  :like: :tu:

Thanks! Here's a couple more pics.

Really, I think the main thing I don't like are the bracelet's hollow end links. They aren't shaped quite right. Probably fixable, just now sure if it's worth the hassle.

That is nice, I did click that link you put up to amazon and there were a few nice ones, one in which had my eye, had all the numbers, had 5-60, day/date, the strap wasn’t metal but leather so not that hollow light strap, heck even cheap, only thing missing was automatic/solar, that and it was a Wenger, so idk,,

High five to you for replacing the rubber straps with the bracelet. I find rubber straps to be the least comfortable, especially on heavy watches. :ahhh

Looks like a more expensive watch now too.
