tell us more about that folder  :pok:
I'm a sucker for wharnies and that looks awesome   :o

Thanks!

Hi Peacent. Thanks!  It is a Kizer Rogue. It's a 2016 release but new to me. It is with me almost everyday now and I am falling in love with it. If you dig into the brand Kizer,  you will find it is a Chinese brand but with exceptional quality. This particular badass is their bladesmith series and is designed by Dirt Pinkerton. On BladeHQ,  the price is $116. I get it slightly cheaper from a New Year sales of a local dealer. With this price,  you get a S35VN blade and titanium framelock. It is also buttery smooth despite it is on washers. It doesn't fall shut like some bearing flippers but it is crazy smooth. The blade is high hollow grind and you know,  hollow grind wharnies are excellent for everyday utility tasks. It has a crazy blade stock of 4mm so it is very very strong. I used it in breaking down boxes,  food,  and some random cutting task but this little 3 inch blade does everything nicely. It is a great one, get one if you have the chance. Try to get the latest version with reversable pocket clip. The earliest version of this knife has high flat grind instead of hollow,  which is fine...  But I enjoy hollow grind for everyday use especially for this kind of thick blade.

thanks for the info.
I've heard very good thing about Rike, kizer and Reate as the new big companies form the far East, and the proof that original Chinese makers, models and companies can easily rival US produced knives in all categories.
Yours looks like a clear example of that.

Lovely grind, shape and top notch materials to boot. For that price, it's hard to find a comparable US made product   :tu:
It seems it's doing you very well, you have a very nice taste and opinion on knives  :D

Thanks Peacent!  Yes,  2017 is my knife year. I started playing with knives since early days but didn't really started my collection until 2017. I bought like 40 knives in 2017 to figure out what kind of knives do I really like. I now usually pair up a 3-inchish knife with my Skeletool, Squirt or Spirit, or add a SAK for scissors if I am with Skeletool. I found these simple minimal combo really handles 99% of things in any normal day.
