Hmm ok, hope this isn't TOO easy :p

Which Victorinox SAK model was specifically made/modified for Finnish mobile phone manufacturer Nokia, and how does it differ from the regular version?

Alrighty then. I'll ask an easy one too.
What was the first offering of Victorinox to have pliers?

SwissChamp--it wouldn't be for a year or two until the Craftsman and Handyman got them, they had the scaler in its place.

Do you mean proper work-sized pliers, or those maxi-tweezer things they put in some SAKs ?   ;)   :pok: (NB flame suit donned)

The first one that jumped to my head was the Mechanic, but thinking about it, I am not 100% certain on when it was released.

If I had to think logically, which often causes me physical pain :P, I would think that the Mechanic (or some other plier equipped model) would have either come first, and then the pliers would have been added to the SwissChamp, rather than having a tool designed to be added to the Champ itself, which is usually considered an amalgamation of all of the other tools.

At least, that's my reasoning- whether it is correct or not is for someone smarter than me to determine.  :D

I wouldn't have had any idea, but I figured it was about the plier head and I stumbled upon a thread discussing that feature of the Spirit not so long ago, and the googled the pictures of said tools :)

Since there are the two types (full size, and SAK pliers), for bonus points, which was their first offering with full size pliers?

The Swisstool came out in 1997 but there was a set of just pliers that came out prior to that but I am not sure of the year  The plier head was the exact same design on these pliers as the original Swisstool as well :tu:

I haven't looked but I don't recall seeing one on sakwiki.
A couple years ago I spotted a client wearing those pliers around her orchard but I'm 99% sure it was with a leather sheath/pouch thing.

Until Cody asks a question, here's one.
Why did LM discontinue the Core?

Because they weren't making enough money off it, so put something else out that would net the profit they want?

Pass.
Probably had something to do with the ST300 being released with replaceable cutters.
I liked the Core but preferred the tapered handles on the ST series.
