Locks, rolled handle edges, sheepfoot serrated knife blade, USA to TOOL on the plier head. there seems to be some cross over on the plier head stamps I'll accept that but I was actually thinking lanyard ring Give us another good one David Forgot about that hidden lanyard ring. Since no one else is having a shot at this here goes.I have four basic Japan made hollow riveted PST's in my collection: 1-Pocket Survival tool - number 3 in the LMPSTCP thread2-US Pat large lanyard attachment, Japan Leatherman knife tang stamp3-US Pat small lanyard attachment, Leatherman only knife tang stamp. I have two of these. The only difference is the left, right can opener so dont really consider them seperate variations.4-US Reg'D TM - number 5 in the LMPSTCP thread.

(no "PORTLAND OR" and other handle blank) ie is version number 4] from the the LMPSTCP thread ?
Pocket clip and non- locking tools? I'm not sure that non locking tools is a feature I'd attribute specifically to the Sideclip though.Def
You mean the bit about the plier head having a flat side similar to the SideClip
That's an easy one... they write Leathermanon it before they write PST II on it....Def
