I don't drink alcohol, but I love root beer, and Bundaberg root beer is pretty dang good. :tu:

I got hooked on their Ginger beer. The amount of Bundy alcohol I drink in a year can be counted on one hand, the ginger beer on the other hand goes quickly!!!

Enjoy Thanks Giving

Pete

I am sure most of you, like me have thought about what might happen and if I have this or that it may save the day :dd: :D
This is why there's always a SwissTool, Becker, and Maglite at the ready in the car. I can go light weight and still be only a minute from over preparedness no matter what relative's house I'm at.
May it be as the Pattern has chosen.

My long lost older twin brother Twiglet and I are off to spend TG with cousin Mo and as it's our first family get together I suggest we take our entire collections. What say you Big Bro?

Absolutely, but his private jet is late again, which is ok because I forgot to put cthoffee on the list and have to run back to the market. Nothing caps off the night like good cthoffee...  :)

I hope he gets new pilots, hard to find good help these days I suppose...

Skeletool man. Skeletool.  :multi:
My in-laws are always unprepared so I'm always the guy who unscrews battery compartments, opening packages, etc. during the holidays. The one tool they always do have is a bottle opener or corkscrew so the Skeletool is perfect.

I will be wielding a large Farberware chefs knife and a big wooden fork as I carve turkey that I brined since the day before, and then roasted in a simple speckled graniteware deep pan along with celery, onions, carrots, potatoes, coriander, peppercorn, rosemary, thyme, and salt, white wine and butter.

But that's just me.

Probly just carry the classics on a classic day - Original PST and Super Tinker -  but they will not be making appearances in photo ops that day, as I intend to keep it calm and relaxing, and letting the real kitchen tools be the kitchen tools. If anything breaks, I'll hit the toolbox. If anything needs "fixin'" , well that would  be the bird.

Unless I walk the pooch later that day and my carries are absolutely needed for some reason.

I'll probably carry the two old, discontinued MTs I'm carrying today and I've carried most days of the past two weeks (with the Rebar's permission), these two

and I don't get to carve any turkey (not a tradition here) but any mea cutting, if there is, will probably be done with the nasty curved blade of some hawkbill, be it Spyderco or other brand. THey are my favorite blade shape for meat cutting due to their tendency to "grab" whatever you're cutting and drive it into the cutting edge.   :salute:

Zip cuffs, Rebar, and probably my Maglite XL50.

No, I'm not joking. We have idiots in my family and my mother is too sentimental to not invite them.

As the day approaches I am thinking of carrying my Farmer.  I think it makes sense in a way.  I will have my Manager on me which is always on my house keys.  I am certain I will have my Zebralight and Olight S1R as well.  Thats my thinking as the time nears.
