I was tempted to do the free upgrade to win10 and roll it back to win7... once you have activated it once it's still valid if you wanted to update it later.

I really dislike the forced update system of win10.

Beware that I read MS snuck the nvidia drivers update into required vs optional in the past on win 7, pita when you're already running an official version and it rolls back to MS.

We stay on an OS until no longer supported by the publisher if possible

Win7 x64 support ends in a year and a half

I tested W10, and our old Deployemnt Console would not support it, so I've just had to upgrade that before I can create and distribute a W10 image.

It's been months since I last booted my win10 install... might be a few more months at this rate.

Just back from spending three and a half hours at the Microsoft store. They tried to restore to a prior date no luck couldn't fix the blue screen after trying everything they did a fresh install of windows ten. It's now working but I'm having to reinstall programs and such as we speak.

I am not happy  >:(

I'm curious as to what systems people are running, with this last update all 4 of my win 10 boxes updated with no problems at all?

I have managed a recovery... a couple of the times I tried to roll it back to a previous recovery it didn't find any  :crash: :bnghd: but I finally got one and it rolled back ok... just proceeding to put it through a thorough cleanup before I hand it back...

I have 3 systems updated, laptops with basic specifications, and none had any issues (yet) - maybe because the update takes too long some try to stop it halfway through, not realising that it is not completed?
