Sure was.  It's a NoBox multi tool.  The blue caught my eye.

Today I checked the Altimeter's battery. What better opportunity to take a Three-Layer Thursday photo?

Very cool! I haven't got one of those with a display in the scales yet. Can the Altimeter model also display the time? Or would that be the Voyager?

What happened to the Victorinox shield? Does it wear off so easily?

To answer Luke's questions: the Altimeter does not have a clock function. (Or at least I've never figured out how to pull it up.) And it came to me with the shield and cross worn away, so I have no idea how susceptible to disappearing they are.

DAY 8  I have more than one Camper, so I added some flashy scales to this one.

OC Farmer! I like the inclusion of a sharpened portion in the bottle opener. Would be cool if they did that again. Looks like a great tool for striking a ferro rod, maybe wire stripping, etc.

 I have an Old Cross Electrician that has that feature. I only realized it when I compared the two OCs side-by-side.

Alox Harvester today  :salute:

I know it's not popular but I really would prefer awl my Alox to come with the keyring as an option (or a bail  :ahhh)

I tend to carry my SAKs in the 5th (jean) pocket and it makes it so much easier to remove (YVMV)
Stay safe awl  :salute: :drink:

NB: Yes the walls need pointing but it's my new landlords issue and they haven't been too nice, so far  ::)
They don't like it up 'em!

Fantastic Harvesters, gents! :2tu:

This Super Tinker, in a bit of a roundabout way, brought me here. I noticed that the scissors weren't cutting paracord too well anymore, so I ordered up a Wounded Warrior Project Fieldmaster (ostensibly to replace the ST). I decided a second had to be ordered for purposes of preservation, and it snowballed from there.

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

The Super Tinker was purchased a week or two after I turned 30 (late September 2008), and spent most of the next 12 years in my pocket. Aside from dulled cutting edges, openers that have lost their snap, and a mark on the large blade that I haven't quite gotten off, it has just endured the usual scrapes and grime associated with 12 years of use and carry.
