Hello from Kansas
on: December 06, 2016, 06:36:47 PM
Guess I should introduce myself.  I've lived in Kansas, USA for all my 50 years.  I've been EDCing stuff for 40+ years- WAY before the term was ever coined.  I'm "srvctec" on the dozens of forums I've ever been on in the last 17 years (Google that and it's most likely me).  I work on copiers for a living and am the senior tech at the place I work and have been there as a service tech (srvctec) for over 28 years.  I'm also over on USN, BF, EDC Planet (actively), EDC Community (very actively) and EDC Forums.

Decided to join up here and share/learn about mods and such on multi-tools.  I started carrying a full sized MT many years ago, first the Gerber and then SOG, and now Leatherman.  My first full sized Leatherman (have several smaller versions as well) was a first gen Wave that says Pat. pending on it and of course doesn't have locking tools.  I upgraded last year to a TTi Charge (second gen, I believe).  I recently added a Crunch last week.

Anyway, good to be here and hope to learn/share a lot!

Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone!!  :like:

I forgot to mention, if you want to see some of my EDC carry, I'm also "srvctec" on Instagram. https://www.instagram.com/srvctec/?hl=en  Basically, all I post is my EDC (which rarely ever changes) and projects or mods I'm working on.

Welcome to Multitool.org Srvctec!  I used to be Defender on a bunch of other forums but these days I'm just me here.

Glad to have you aboard!   I'll bet your tools all get serious regular use in your lobe of work!
