Hello from Virginia
on: December 13, 2016, 10:49:34 PM
Hello everyone! I'm new around here, been lurking for a while and decided to join up. Here's a little about me.
I would consider myself fairly new to the multitool world. For most of my life I've carried some sort of a folding knife every day. I always felt naked without one. Throughout the years I had tried to convert myself to a multitool carrying person, but was never successful. I worked most of my career in the mechanical/electrical technician field. And I always had a dedicated toolbox and tools right at my disposal. So the need for a big tool on my belt always felt redundant. As a result I always fell back to the dedicated folder.
I've since had a couple wonderful kids and a promotion to a desk job. And this is when my MT revolution took place. My #1 edc knife disappeared one day and I was looking into a replacement. Long story short, I discovered the skeletool. It was comparable in size to a folder but had pliers and screwdriver. And since I had a pocket full of mini pliers and small screwdrivers it just seemed to fit. But the biggest plus was that it was small enough to fit my front pocket with a clip. Ordered up the skeletool CX and the rest is history.

Great name.  Welcome to MTO.  The Skeletool is to some a plier with knife and to others a knife with pliers but either way its pretty darn handy.

Helloooooo!

Haven't got a skeletool myself, but I do understand why people love it so much.

Welcome
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.
