Okay, so I actually found 111mm Rescue Tool Stay Glow scales and am gonna put them on my Work Champ. I don't know if I'll be able to find similar ones for my SC and I don't want to port over the Emergency Tool's Stay Glow plus scales. So I'm just gonna be on the lookout for GITD plus scales for my SC...

I just got some of these TEC Embrite E-Bricks yesterday, so I’m still playing around with them.  Pretty expensive, but initial results are encouraging.

Pic below not using special camera mode, but immediately after being outside.

Oh very cool! They work kinda like a lanyard? I'd be very interested to hear how you find them after like a week or so of use. It's in the shape of a lego brick, eh?

Yea, they are essentially a lanyard bead (hole through the middle) sort of in the shape of a lego brick (the top resembles a lego, but the bottom is flat and smooth, so they don’t actually fit together like legos).  Personally, I would have preferred a rounder shape (no edges or corners), but this is the shape they are.

I tied this one to my flashlight with a bit of micro cord.

After playing around with these for a couple of weeks, the lume is very good; bright and long-lasting enough that, with a moderate amount of light exposure during the day, they can be clearly seen across a dark room all night long.

One negative is the cost.  At around $20 EACH (give or take, depending on if one wants a 2x2 brick or a 2x4 brick),  I’m going to be fairly selective about what I use them for.

Are they squishy or hard? The pointy corners worry me a bit.

Hard, but I’ve been running one on my EDC light, and it hasn’t been a problem.  Certainly not sharper than keys etc.

I agree though; I would have preferred they ditch the cutesy lego brick design in favor of something more round or ovoid, without edges or corners.  Or a skull bead might have been cool.
