Hey Benner!

I have, and frequently use, the Turnbox model. It works about as well as the Sharpmaker for PE blades but sharpens at a slightly more obtuse angle so it works better for severely damaged blades due to the 25 degree angle available.

Had mine for about 2 years and it's still going strong.

I think I'd wait and get a Sharpmaker mate as there's a few more option's, and a better sharpening angle :)
Give in, buy several Farmer's!!!!!!

I am toying with the idea of the turnbox one.  They are only £9 inc. delivery.  Seems like you can't go wrong.

Be carefull Ben you could go very wrong .Spoony said its a different angle to the sharpmaker  :(  I've found the sharpmaker to be the same as the factory grinds on many different blades . Vic , Spyderco ( obviously ) , Chris Reeve to name but a few .

If you look on youtube and BB there is a technique involving a pencil that changes that angle very easily and effectively.

It's 17° and 25° from the description whereas sharpmaker is 15° and 20° (per side)

If you get it you can always practice on an old knife until your happy with the results .

I have the Deluxe Turnbox style and I love it. Mine has 20 and 25 degrees marked on it. I use the 25 degrees for pocket knives and the 20 degrees for kitchen knives. So far it has worked just great for me. I have no plans to replace it. Although don't drop the rods, they break easy.  :D :D

Thanks for the link!  The deluxe Turnbox model looks great.  I use the 20 and 25 degree settings on my Lansky sharpening system, so it should be a good match for touchups in the field.
