It sounds like you got to Toronto around the time I left. I was there for Y2k but left in the end of February to go to Halifax.
In the years I was in Toronto I lived in Rexdale, Jane and Finch, Jameson and King, Scarborough and Pickering. I put a lot of mileage on my poor car in those days, working three jobs in different corners of the city all the time! It didn't seem like much though, after I commuted from London to Scarborough all through school.
