UK friendly Rebar mods

Hello and Merry Christmas to everyone,

I've got my trusty modded SAK which I'll never give up but I'd like to do something interesting with my relatively newly acquired Rebar because a/ I want something UK carry legal, b/ I have some of the tools on my SAK already and c/ because I can't help myself.

After reading through loads of threads on what you can do I'd really welcome some advice on what I could put together to meet my needs.

Tools I'd like to add are:
Scissors,
Large bit driver
Small bit driver (not that bothered about that one)
Diamond file (Again, nice but not that bothered. Great thread from SteveC on that swap though)

I could take out:
2  x blades
bottle opener
lanyard loop
cross head (phillips) screwdriver

It looks like Loki-mobile can get most of those bits or I suppose I could just get a Wave and cannibalise it but do you think that configuration could work?

1) The best scissors are Victorinox's, so if your missing scissors from your line up, you're probably just carrying the wrong SAK.  ;)

2) Dedicated Phillips beats the bit driver on purchase of Phillips screws, strength, and reach. Don't discard this unless you absolutely have to.  :pok:

3) If all you "need" to lose is the two blades, maybe just switch them both for the large bit driver, and reshuffle the remaining contents for best fit ... or.... do the same with switching for the scissors, and add a bit adapter to work on the Phillips (added benefit - full sized bits that are more easily replaced)

Above suggestions are good and I will agree with them :cheers:

But it is totally up to you what you want to do with your Rebar and it can be configured many different ways :tu:
