Carried mine today, but unfortunately my tablet broke--so no photo. Mine's an August, 1995 tool with no hard wire cutters. I've carried it almost nonstop since I got it a couple weeks back.   When you carry a bit set, and a SAK for the other stuff--really it's all you need.

They are definitely great when paired with a SAK   :like: It always amazes me that they are a full set of pliers in such a small package :dd: :like:

Instead of having to deal with AT&T about getting my tablet replaced (already have, and despite the screen being cracked, they wouldn't take it off the plan), I just bought a $35 HTC prepaid smartphone and didn't activate it.  Just used it on WiFi.  And it takes pretty good photos.

Had to rig a jam nut for my Smith's sharpening system, so out came the manual drill (to keep the noise down, my old Craftsman 3/8 electric is very loud) and the left hand bits.    The two drills are:  Miller Falls 2-A Hand Drill, made 1957-1968, even though it looks way older.  It came with the place when my grandparents bought it in 1969.  I've oiled it and kept it in good shape, it's technically my grandfather's even though I've claimed it since I was 8 or so.  The top of the handle comes off to store bits.   C.M. Co, MFG Long Island, NY Breast Drill.   Ca. 1950s.   I found the thing on the adjoining property.   It was a rusty mess when I got a hold of it, and the busted stub of a bit was stuck in the chuck.   It took a couple hours when I cleaned it up to get the bit out.  Took taking the chuck off, removing the inner gripper and soaking it in WD-40.   Used the Miller Falls for the work--the CM Co wouldn't grip the bit as tightly as needed.

Mini Tool was used to remove the nut I resized off the bit, as well as a set screw stuck on the left hand bit that my grandfather removed with it the last time he used it.

Well, back to college tomorrow.    My main backpack is a surplus MOLLE II Three Day Assualt Pack, which has room for everything I need, and unlike my last two packs, virtually indestructible (note to self: a $15 pack isn't to be trusted). Since the mechatronics program I'm in has a lot of hands-on elements to it, I need tools, which are supplied, but often, we won't have the right tool, as it's either busted or missing; and I end up loaning my instructor or classmates mine. Unfortunately, that former toiletry bag full of tools got to be too much weight (around 5 lbs.) so I ditched it, and replaced it with an ST300 I carry in the pack, and a few small tools that the ST300 can't duplicate well, like Vise Grips and an old pocket screwdriver with great reach.

Ok, I'll play. I've been holding off a bit as embarrassingly enough I have yet to use since I bought this several months ago. The MiniTool is my work carry and cubicle mouse that I am I only need a knife, flashlight, P38, Moleskin, and pens when I walk the floor. My Skelly or old Gerber MP has been enough for me off work.

I've paired the MiniTool with the Cadet. Tool duplication but the Cadet does it better I hate to say. Tool handles are 0195 and 0596. No idea what that means. Has a hard wire cutter.

Carried mine again today--I swear, I think the Mini has stolen most of the pocket time from the rest of my LM collection. Except for some of the days I've lounged around at home--I don't think there's been a day I didn't have it in my pocket.   I guess, one because it's no bigger than those nearly useless "keyring multitools", but is very much full size.  Also because the handles don't dig into my hands with force.

Carried it, along with this Boker and a Vic Outdoorsman today.
