I was looking at the newest CAT smartphone with the thermal camera. I decided against it because it has a really low-res screen. How do you like the CAT phones?
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.

those are the non-smart models.

They work well, but their cameras are rubbish

They are solid, because they are basic. The more functions, holes, screen area you get, the more likely it is something will break.

True that, but those models would survive an accidental drop, which is all I really need. Anything beyond that is bonus :D

Is that an Olympus camera?  I hear the picture quality on them isn't that great either.  I have seen a lot of reviews that suggest staying away from them.

Fuji. The picture is OK, but its main use is for  underwater photography or heavy rain.

That's good to know.  I had looked at the Olympus one a few times as I often used my camera in heavy rain at work, but I found the price tag a bit hefty on it.  In the end I just started using my phone for everything.
