Saw these sweet oilcan geetars in Glastonbury over the weekend - made me think of Nix. No SAK's involved as it was a busy street

The last one is a massive steel Jerrycan and is called the Apocalypse Resonator.

I could've sworn I already posted some pics here ...

Maybe there was another topic with SAKs and music instruments in the past.

Nice!

Windy and cloudy day...
Great for hanging arround at home and trying to write some pieces of music with my trusty "Greenie"...   8)

Those are some cool instruments...I like that Jerrycan. As I was looking at the photos I was thinking about the cigar box guitars. When I enlarged your Apocalypse Resonator photo and enlarged it  :sa: there off to the side were some cigar box guitars!     :like:

Maybe the lighting makes the color look a bit different, but it's just a regular "Surf Green" one, a very common vintage Strat color...  It has "yellow'ed" a bit over the years however...

Yup, i'm a sucker for maple neck Strats and Teles, especially when they start to get that lovely amber-like shade to them

BTW, that's a gorgeous Martin concert ukulele you've posted earlier  :like:

Thanks! You definitely should!

Vintage Martin sopranos are about the same price as modern solid wood imports with a little searching  (at least in the US).

Here's another pic :)

Nothing like some vintage seasoned old wood for great tone, especially on acoustics
