Tailored pants for multitool

I'm pretty handy around a sewing machine (thanks grandma) and i've been thinking about modifying my jeans or custom tailoring them to have a built in sheath for a multitool and flashlight I was wondering if anyone has done this before.

Very cool! I would also suggest to check out the Triple Aught Design website and get some ideas from the pant line. They have pics and videos that you could examine. Some of their pants have hidden compartments and attachment points you can also check out. The specs also have the name of the materials if you want to go that far.

I actually have one of their pants and I can tell you that your idea is extremely useful. The TAD stuff is way too expensive so I'm crossing my fingers that you will find success and I will start shopping from your business!!!

I'm probably just gonna being doing my own clothing but I'll keep you guys posted. College takes up a lot of time

Hi michaeljuan. I'm new here, but I've been looking at the 5.11 clothes for a bit of inspiration for possibly doing something similar. I'm an old boyscout, and am always looking for a better way to carry necessary items so they're not all in one place. Distributed weight is much more tolerable for a long day (discreet is really good among sheeple too.) I know a lot of police officers are wearing them, for the weight distribution and equipment accessibility. Just a thought.

5.11 is what I wear every day. Very comfortable with lots of pockets and a built in D ring.
