I do agree that coffee should be black, right up until the point I pour smurfloads of milk in it. How people can drink it black is beyond me.Anyway, I've just cooked up a brew to give it a whirl. I used one on my small camping pots on the stove, cooked it up in the pot with sugar, and poured it into a large mug already laden with milk. It's a bit of a palaver when you're used to making tea with a teabag in a mug, but it worked out quite well for a first effort. I might tweak the method slightly next time, but it's heading for the gullet and not down the drain, so I reckon that makes it a success
