Dedicated Lanyard Ring for the Wave

Hey guys. I've been lurking around here for a couple months now and I finally got around to making an account. First time posting, so excuse me if I'm not following protocol or something. I've been carrying my wave around in my back pocket with a lanyard attached to the "hidden" ring in the handles. I've noticed that the ring is starting to get somewhat of a bend in it. It looks like the Rebar's fold out lanyard ring is the same size and I was wondering if anyone has ever switched them out.

Can you replace the Wave's "hidden" lanyard ring with the rebars?

That should fit, I've swapped several Wave and Rebar tools back and forth with no issue.  Not that one specifically though...

On the other hand, if you don't use the pocket clip, you could add the removable lanyard ring it its place.
