Finally in the Farmer club.

Well after all the preaching that happens here about the Farmer I have finally caved and got myself one.

Thanks to Terry (NutSAK) I am now the proud owner of this oldie Farmer;

As it can be seen in the pic, it has the older styled cross which I prefer. It also has brass liners that add a touch of class to.

So far, I am really impressed with it. The weight, size and feel of the ALOX make this a very special knife to own and I can certainly see what all the fuss is about. It has been EDC'd ever since it got here and I can see it being carried for a long time to come.

Yes, the Cadet is 84mm. The Farmer is 93mm - just 2mm longer than the regular 91mm SAK.

Yes. The Cadet is 84mm and the Soldiers and Farmer's etc are 93mm.

Looks really nice Ben - I know how ~~Swiss Toni~~ MickyD rates the Farmer, so I'll be interested to see if you think the same way after EDC for a while.

You know, Ben those liners could use a little polish to shine them up. I meant to use some Brasso on them before I shipped it to you, but forgot. They have quite a patina after living in my pocket for a couple of years.
