I would like a regular production run, but not at the quality caliber of the current 1893 knife. Something cheap enough I could actually use without feeling guilty.  :(

+1

i thnk the originals were intended for USE and they should do a run without rip-off-limited-fat-wallet markings etc,t us who use knives we have.and in my shelf i could display one, with any shame one, without serial numbers.
Indeed  :salute:  As a rule I hate limited edition collector stuff  >:(

Is it just me or is the blade shape not the same as an original?  It could just be the way I am looking at it but it seems different to me. ???

The blade shape might be subtly different to discourage trying to pass one off as a mint original .

The original seems to have more of a pronounced clip point than the re-issue.  The re-issue has more of the modern spear point to my eye.  Or do I need to book in to see my optician?  8)

Not all of the early models had clip points, as those in the 40's and 50's did.  I've seen many of the originals with spear points.
