PST refurb

Found an early 90s PST on eBay

Sanded out engraving and polished it using a jewelers rouge and cape cod clothes

***anyone know where I can get new screws?

That looks great, nice job!  :tu:

I don't know a source for those screws since they're not being produced anymore.  Other than looking for another PST, maybe one with a broken blade or something, that would be cheap but not worn out.

I go with eddie and say you will probably have to find another PST that has good screws even if it is otherwise a wreck :D
Merit Badges Post your pocket dump photos then challenge two more members who must post their pocket dump photos within 24hrs for you to get the badge. Must update or add a page on the Multitool.org Multitool Encyclopedia Carry an orange item and post a picture of it everyday for 30 days. Start a thread with a photo of at least ten OPT's in your collection Participate in a challenge by carrying  a Leatherman Pulse or ST200 and post a photo of it  for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of the Leatherman MiniTool for thirty (30) consecutive days. In this challenge,  carry one(1) Pliers-based or Non-pliers multitool that we always have prejudice against, hate or even fear and post a picture everyday for 30 days Using EDC items randomly selected with a poker hand, post a photo of your EDC or a component of the EDC that got used during the course of the day for 4 weeks (or 30 consecutive days) In the spirit of the Batman utility belt. The screws look fine in the pic :think: Did they get messed up in the refurb process?

No. They're ok. I tried loosening one side a bit because the pliers are very tight and it scratched it a bit, but nothing that hinders the operation. I'm just trying to get a stock pile going.

Almost essential if you want to work with those knurled screws.  Once you get at least 5 posts, you could PM loki-mobile (who posted the thread) and buy a set of those wrenches from him. :cheers:
