Title says it all, open up your SAK, show us what tools you got, with a name please, if possible.

The couple I carried today: +B Carver SW and Tourist. A near perfect combo for me. The sturdy alox knife for general outdoor work, the smaller classic red knife for lunchtime.

They where made back in 2008. It's the only time they put a Phillips driver on the Hunter.

Love seeing these tool fans, all!

First we have what I believe is a Swiss Army Brands Handyman (SABI 5041). It has:
  • "cossbow" full-layer-width blade
  • small spearpoint blade
  • "version 2" metal file
  • wood saw
  • fish scaler w/ruler
  • screw scissors
  • cap lifter without 90 degree stop
  • can opener
  • fluted corkscrew
  • old type backside fine SD
  • reamer without sewing eye
It's certainly 1985 or earlier but I'm not exactly sure this isn't a variant of the Champion.  It has the same tool set as a 70s Champion but newer versions of the tools. It's got an SKF inlay, which is as extant company that still makes bearings. I'm currently calling it So Kool Fool but might have to change that when I change the scales. (They are both cracked) Only moments ago a 3-knife lot sold on ebay for $24 containing another SAK exactly like this, with SKF inlay. Cheers to whoever snagged that.

Next up is a curiousity to me. It's a transparent light blue tinker. I believe this is simply a sun-faded sapphire model. What's odd to me is that the blade has the older "crossbow" tang stamp, but it is the narrower blade with spacer-bump on the outer liner. It's the only SAK I have with the old stamp but newer thin tang. Crossover year?

Lastly we have my 84mm MOD with:
  • modern stamp main blade
  • nail file
  • wood saw
  • 84mm scissors
  • cap lifter
  • can opener
  • cork screw/mini driver
  • reamer w/eye
It has nylon scales which I really like. I'm considering adding a 5th layer with serrated blade and electrician blade, no back tool. Still don't have a name for this one.

Nice SKF Handyman.  During the time that knife was made, my grandfather was a purchasing agent for a coal mine. he got a nice USA made, but cheap pair of nail clippers with the SKF logo, which I now have.  Too bad he didn't get one from them--he'd likely be still carrying it today.

I'd leave the scales on.

Now those are some proper grampa knives!

Love the LNF! And scissors on that more "oval" shaped type SAK I rarely see even in photos.

Two hunter green SAKs, a Minichamp II & an Explorer.  The Minichamp came off the keyring for a photo op and the Explorer came out of the box to match better.  The Explorer I EDC has red scales.
