I think the location is "close enough but not perfect" on purpose.  From what I understand, there are lots of crazy stalkers on the internet, just waiting to get their hooks in some unsuspecting but devilishly handsome MTO members.

you'd think there would be more members in such a conservative state as Texas.... Alas, the nearest active member is Mercury, and I'm pretty sure he moved since placing his marker there. Next would be jlwatso in Dallas, and Noa Isumi and Yadda in Houston.
