:iagree: thanks for sharing Adam, I have been a bit obsessed over TL-29s the last few weeks.  This is a Colonial I have been working on. Old snap on scales were in shambles and the blades were loose as can be.   [ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]    [ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]
Here is a pre ‘72 M Klein & Sons that had a terribly chipped blade I tried to salvage, and ended up converting it to a single blade.   [ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]   It seems like there are a lot of these great knives laying around in partial disrepair that can be brought back.

Nice work  :tu:

There are definitely plenty of them out there needing a little work and available for a good price. Once I have completed my move and have a work area set up, I plan to start working on some I have.

These are my Utica electrician knives:

Kutmaster TL-29, Utica Cutlery Co, and Proto (made by Utica)

Amazingly, none of my Klein electrician knives were made by Utica. If you search ebay, you will find that the Utica made Kleins (which look just like the Proto) are either the most available electrician knives for sale or are a close second to Camillus. But almost all of mine were made by Camillus.

Interesting but not surprising. Camillus make a smurf ton of knives for other companies.
