The fact that I am replying to my first thread on this forum gives testimony to my survival. At least the darned thing had an ejection seat! A Martin-Baker MKJ-5D.I always kept my free hand close to the lower firing handle.
Welcome to the forum... are you sure that was your username? Because I remember a guy named OV1 something... At any rate, if you are a friend of Tom's I'd gladly welcome you here. Tom and I go way back to the early days of SOSAK, and while he doesn't post much, I'm always happy to see him drop by!I think you'll find a few guys here from the good old days!Def

I could have sworn that my username at the time was "Cafayolaye." I may have been OV1kenobi even back then. I don't know of anyone else that has ever used an OV1 username, other than me.So, the OV1 username that you were familiar with was probably me. I still wonder what ever happened to "Chief Engineer" on the old SOSAK Forum.Deputy Tom is is a great guy from that Austrian pistol forum.I look forward to being a part of this community and learning.Thank you!
Welcome aboard Ov1 and thank you for your service
