New Member From Muscogee Nation
on: February 01, 2017, 11:41:05 PM
Just joined a couple of days ago, upon referral by "deputy tom."

We are both members of one of those Austrian semi-automatic pistol forums.

I live in N.E. Oklahoma, within the boundaries of the old Muscogee Nation, and this is my first post to this forum.

My username derives from my time in the U.S. Army as a Right-Seater in the Army OV-1 Mohawk. Prior to that, a Cavalry Scout (Tenth Cavalry and Fourth Infantry Regiments.)

My main interest is Swiss Army Knives, as I own only one other multi-tool, a Leatherman Micra.

I was a member of "SOSAK", but it has been quite some time since I last posted. My username, I believe, was Cafayolaye.

I used to frequently participate in FelineVet's online buys.

I wonder if "Chief Engineer" is still around?

Anyway, I am glad to have been referred to this forum. I will wander around, educate myself and perhaps learn how to post  an Avatar photo.

Pleased to make everyone's acquaintance.

Thanks!

We in the Army preferred to call ourselves "Crewmembers."

A smart move from what US airmen told me in the Balkans, they didn't fair too well when thing weren't working properly.

Now the O2-A that's a kite I would love to go up in (and fly) :ahhh

Welcome to the forum... are you sure that was your username?  Because I remember a guy named OV1 something...

At any rate, if you are a friend of Tom's I'd gladly welcome you here.  Tom and I go way back to the early days of SOSAK, and while he doesn't post much, I'm always happy to see him drop by!

I think you'll find a few guys here from the good old days!

Thanks for the welcome, Def!

Like I said, I remember SOSAK from at least ten years ago. I could have sworn that my username at the time was "Cafayolaye."

I may have been OV1kenobi even back then. I don't know of anyone else that has ever used an OV1 username, other than me.

So, the OV1 username that you were familiar with was probably me. I still wonder what ever happened to "Chief Engineer" on the old SOSAK Forum.

Deputy Tom is is a great guy from that Austrian pistol forum.

I look forward to being a part of this community and learning.

Thank you!

Yeah I miss the Chief too- and a lot of other guys.  It's been a long road since then, but like I said, a lot of the old SOSAK members are here now,  In fact, I started a thread a while back to see just how many were still hanging out.  :D

Old SOSAK Members

Don't worry about the name confusion- Ken's username is Obiwanshinobee, and he's a ninja.  If he wants us to know he's there, we will know....  :D
