The coating looks extra thick around the logo and especially "charge". Did they all come out looking like that?  :-\

Yup! That's how it is. The lettering on the old Ti scales usually got ground to the same plane as the edges, which made them "fat". The BO coating makes them even less clean. I got one, which looks just like that.

+1, that one even has the cap crumpet, I do not expect it to remain that low price wise. 
A new BO if found is what $190 or more?
