where is production date on it??

I don't see one either.  I do see an "N" and an "O"  on the sliders (<< my word) near where the plier spring attaches.  I doubt that this is a date code, but maybe.

Unless someone sees a date code somewhere, I'll email Leatherman and inquire.

From Leatherman:

"We stopped a few years ago putting handle dates on our tools.  I’m guessing it was to eliminate an extra step in manufacturing the tools which can help keep cost down for customers.  So there are no handle dates on your OHT.

I’m told the N and O are likely just identifications for the molds that are used for that particular jaw.  I don’t have that on my sample tool, so it may have been added later than my particular tool was manufactured."

Opened some cans today... I definitively would say it was a fail, not an expert but that was the worst can opener I ever used.

Z, that's an awesome image of the saw.  How did you bring that about?  It looks like the light is hitting it from the 8:00 direction.  Reminds me of the "identify this pic" thread you did a while back.

Leatherman will look after you well past the 25 year mark.

Taken at night over my computer desk. Looking at the tint I think I used a thrunite t10. Camera set to macro so the flash doesn't fire.
Holding the camera and flashlight above, focus (half press with my point and click) on my other hands finger placed next to the saw, then move the flashlight to the side and take the pic.

This type of pic comes from a dislike of using the flash and not having a steady hand or tripod.

(Image removed from quote.)

I used a zebralight h52w on high from above to get the focus, the on medium from the side.
Pic was taken with my hand covering the flash to keep the shutter speed up.

I'm about to move to a higher mp clicker and will probably rig up a tripod to go with it so hopefully my pics will get better soon.

Well, I don't use can-openers a lot and I haven't used the one on the MP-600... greatest thing about the MP-600 is that it is so easy to remove the can-opener :D

The OHT's serrated blade helped me clean out the dryer vent - and find valuable tinder I can sell on eBay.
