Opinel No. 7 Blade in DIY Frame?

I've wanted to get myself a DIY for some time, but one, I don't like large tangs with other stuff integral to them (usual culprits being bottle openers or wire scrapers)  which take up a good portion of the edge length, and I'd rather have the Carbon blade in it.   The DIY, according to the locking collar, uses a No. 9 frame size.

So, is it possible to do a blade swap with the same size No 9?  I know that the normal Opinel blade is more of a Sodbuster profile, while the DIY's is a sort of a drop point.
