I would be honored,  it looks pretty cool and I like the old gerbers.

I have seen the dog tag and was somewhat intrigued,  what are your thoughts and impressions?

So. About this little fella. So I stalk the bladeforums marketplace pretty regularly, mainly for knives I have no business getting worked up over  >:D. And this little guy caight my eye, I thought it was unique and I have been a fan of Serge Pachenkos design for a while now (with no hope of ever owning a custom from him)...  :salute:

The price was knocked down and I jumped on it, thinking I'd have immediate buyers remorse, instead I am completely stoked on this thing. I wanted a small little blade strictly for opening packages and boxes with sticky tape as to not worry about my much pricier and more special knives just a little more prestine (while still being users).  :tu:

I've found that this guy fits perfectly and disappears during carry. And, fits so great in the coin/watch pocket of my jeans!  ;) The fit and finish of this is really top notch, I don't know why, but I wasn't expecting that. Everything lines up perfectly and is very satisfying opening and closing with the detent slip. The colors are reminiscent of PDX carpet (if your from Portland you'd understand  :drink: ) and I really like the stonewashed sheepsfoot blade.

So all that to say, I love it!  :tu:  :tu:

Aha! So it's way smaller than a creditcard! That's not what I expected.

It's the exact outter dimension of a real dog tag, and not a whole heck of a lot thicker.

I have never owned a spyderco, until now. I recently took the plunge and dipped my toes into the proverbial "spydie hole".  :D

Anyone want to have some fun and take a guess or a gander at what my first spyderco could have been.   :mail: I'll post a inconspicuous pic from time to time if no one guesses. One guess per post.

If you guess correctly, and you want the grand prize (not grand at all) it is all yours! This is a ooold Gerber paraframe, small. Used heavily in my early 20's to open packages and the like working in wear-houses. Also, you get a BUCK! Not the knife, that'd be cool too, but an actual dollar!
Thank you very very very much,  it is very cool.  I love it and the dollar was way more then generous. Hats off and well played sir.
