I came out of a little market with a sandwich and did a triple take when I saw this one.
Look at the size compared to the door frame.
So I start talking to him and got that stare right back.
I call him Marty or Marti depending on gender of course......which I did nothing tom verify of course!

You really don’t want their attn cause they’ll charge you and their freaking quick with those long legs! I’ve seen some shows where the police have had to put them down because they’ve put citizens in danger or if you hit one while driving, then they have to bring in truck with hoists like a toe-truck to pick them up cause well their freaking heavy! But they get donated to a special program that helps out the local vfw and schools, just like if you get cought hunting them illegally, game and wildlife ain’t putting that meat to waist! Of course they ain’t letting you have it either!

Yeah this was not my first encounter either.
I have a Job in Maine where I go a few times a year where a few years ago during a bad snow storm a bigger Moose than this one fell hopelessly in love with my Truck?!
He just stood there leaning against the truck and would stare blankly at me like in this pic suggesting" do you feel lucky punk, well do you?"
I tried for a whole day to get it to move but they move only when good and ready and I was warned about how fast and nasty they can be so I just had to wait hime out.

Evidently they are pretty fond of smashing cars too if they want to.
So this one looks like a Teenager really but still way to big for me to mess with!
You might notice that this was in front of a Brewery and that is was closed too?
He was clearly just waiting for the doors to open again!

Lol, one day waaaay back, I came home from work, jumped out of my van, started walking to the porch, AND FROZE! We had been getting visitors who had been making themselves at home in everyone’s trash cans, and well, I found out what, a big freaking bear! My only problem was I was half way between my front door and my van, now, did I lock my van, or did the Mrs leave the front door unlocked? So what do I do? Luckily he looked at me and said “ahh, I got a few goodies out of your trashcan, I’ll let myself off your lawn”
Two weeks later they caged this guy and took him off to a more wild area, before doing so they weighed him in at 701lbs, this guy was BIG!
