The Huntsman is brilliant out camping and still light enough for carrying everyday with so many useful tools. A Classic SD is now an everyday carry. I never gave the small knives a thought until I was given one by the British importer. I know it's not a carry but the Swiss Champ is never far away about the house and I guess you couls carry it at a pinch. I have just got a Pioneer X too and that is great with the scissors and feels bombproof. Thinking about getting a regular pioneer as well.

Tinker main go to

Spartan with a serrated main blade next in line.
Does this model have it's own name?  Appreciate someone telling me, if so.

Partial to two layer SAKs with the exception of the Hiker and Camper as they both have saws and the back isn't equipped with the " HOOK"
I know, I know there are a bunch of clever uses for the " hook", it just bothers me there in the middle acting so smug like.

These are my "go to SAK". I have a lot in my collection but these 7 are getting pocket time at least once a week. I rotate carrying them, depending on occasion whether I am staying in the office or traveling or attending a formal meeting These are from left to right Evo S17, Super Tinker, Bantam, Pioneer Alox, Compact (black), Huntsman (camo) and Field Master (custom Ti). If I am afraid of losing my Ti custom SAK, I swap it with Champion.

A Weekender, thanks Who.
I like that it brings a different main blade to the table but still has the plain edge pen blade.

Still SwissChamp, just want to show the new scales of my faithful companion. (Well, scale, the other has my name on it so don't want it necessarily on the internet.)

New scales do look sharp, I purposely avoid looking especially at special inlay ones to lessen temptation.

If I don't know what the day will bring repair wise, swisschamp. If I'm going out to the woods or around the house, huntsman lite

I'm in limbo as awlways ..

But I'm thinking this summer's carries will have a focus on DAK KL92,  el tourist,  Wenger Traveler, Cadet, and Small Climber

I probably carry the Fireman more than anything else, provided this summer I've spent more time on the farm than I have in previous years. Its blades are big enough to always get the job done. Heavy materials are no match for the belt cutter, and cutting back brush without dragging out the chainsaw is easily done with the saw. Jerry rigging field expedient repairs can usually be done with its three drivers, awl, and saw.  And if that doesn't work, there's a PocketWrench II, 125mm Knipex Cobras, a pair of linesman's pliers, a flashlight ,and a Ti Countycomm 4" curved prybar somewhere on my person.  Not to mention, that if the Fireman is in my pocket and not my belt as usual, there's a Mora Robust or Mark II Fighting Knife on my belt instead.

That's a tough one. I guess if I had a one and only, it would be the Pioneer X! It has the best awl and the best scissors.  :D my runner up is my serrated Wenger Traveler
