I've had a few "go to" SAKs over the years and but suspect the Huntsman will always be the one dearest to my heart.

My go-to SAK is my modded Compact.  It started as a Compact (I like the nail file on the parcel hook), then had some Yeoman elements added (inline Phillips and magnifier), it rounds out with a wood saw and a sentimental scale (teepee on it like my original Camper).
GigaHz made this special mod come true and it's my daily carry.  :tu:

Looking back at my previous answer the Manager is still a go to SAK.  It has not left my keychain now for several years.  I do keep my Explorer Plus handy but its not carried as much these days.  My 84mm Tinker is now my go to SAK for day to day chores.  I really thought I'd miss having scissors on my larger SAK but my Manager has them and they are really capable.

I currently only own 4 SAKs, one I just got in an ebay auction tonight, so it does not count. The other 3 are two champs and one champion. I bought my first one about 1974 & been carrying them ever since. I lost that first one & a couple more along the way but that was the only knife I would ever carry until I retired. Now it is mostly single blade lockbacks. But who knows, when my champs are returned from the repair shop the lockbacks may just get shelved.

SwissChamp is always with me going out from home, at home it's Outrider. I also carry a Spirit but uses are rarer.

Would probably carry 111mm more but both law and social acceptability are a bit on fence with them in town.

(Image removed from quote.)

Handyman (for almost two years straight), Alox Rambler (four or five years).
My combo, too, although my Rambler is Cellidor.  Love your alox one and the black scales of your HM. A classy combination! :like:

A lot of members here have (from what I've seen) massive collections of Swiss army knives, that it makes me wonder if, given the option, do they carry a different knife every day, or do they have one specific knife that they reach for if they're just heading outside.

I have quite a few SAK's....being something of a Magpie, I suppose. As a result, I switch up which particular SAK I'll carry based on what I'm doing or wearing.

When I read the question, the first SAK popped into my mind was "Farmer."

My SAK collection is much smaller than in days past, but these have been my true EDC 99.9% of the time for the last 5 years. My absolute favorite knives.

I’ve been branching out lately... the Rambler has become a necessary backup, and I had no idea I would like the SwissChamp as much as I do....

BUT

Gotta be the Climber Plus. Doing the math (years x days x uses per day x percent time carried), I conservatively estimate I’ve used it 30,000 times.
