I'll always have a soft spot for the Tinker because it was my first SAK back in the 80s, but I'd have to say that the Scientist is my "go to" ever since I discovered it.  I use a Phillips driver all the time to replace batteries in my son's toys (his toy trains see a LOT of use), so having one close at hand is a necessity.  I've also used the Scientist to build a computer.  The tip of the Phillips is small enough to work with those tiny screws that hold in m.2 solid state drives, much to my surprise.  I like the Scientist so much that I actually bought two of them, and am having Syph convert one into a custom all-Ti number with brass magnifying glass and hidden scale drawer for carrying toothpicks.

I’d say my go to is a StayGlow Climber.   Honorable mentions go to a standard red Ranger and StayGlow Deluxe Tinker

Champ may be a bit much,  but I"ll admit to the need for that mag glass.

TBH in total of hour carried the Swisschamp is my "Go-To SAK" since I was a teen. That Mag Glass had some guilt for that   :climber: :ahhh

Now it's not the one I'd pick, but it's undoubtedly the Vic that I've carried the most   :salute:
My toys:

MTs: Surge (2x), Skeletool CX, Rebar, Blast, Fuse, Micra, Squirt (3x), Wave, Crunch, Mini, Spirit (2x), Pro Scout, MP700 (2x), Diesel, Powerlock, PowerPlier (2x), PocketPowerPlier, Blacktip , ST6 (2x), 5WR, A100

SAKs: Bantam, Executive, Ambassador, Minichamp, Classic Alox, Champion, Farmer, Explorer, Swisschamp, Golf Tool, Wenger Champ, EVO 52, Pocket Tool Chest

I’ve looked a lot, but never found StayGlow Plus scales.  I’m about 100% sure they don’t exist.   I think the cool factor outweighs the pen and pin slots.

My go-to SAK is the Swiss Champ.

I was a Vic Dealer when they came out and I have carried one every day since then.

Bought my first Victorinox "Swiss Army Knife" back in '88 after graduating high school. It was a Super Tinker. Carried it everywhere and used it ll the time.  Broke its scales in 2012. Received a Deluxe Tinker as a gift/replacement and carried that. I've since pulled the '88 out of retirement, straightened the liners and carried it scale-less. This past summer I joined here and was inspired to repair it with new scales from Sazabi.

So I went 24 years with the Super Tinker. Not as my "go-to" Swiss Army Knife, but as my ONLY Swiss Army Knife. With me all the time.

Since joining here, however, I have added five more SAKs to my arsenal. Some used, some new. I have cellidor, nylon, and also. Even my dog has one. Plus I just ordered two more used one's from a member here.

All of them have their attributes I admire, but my old Super Tinker will always be first choice.
