The Sync II is larger than you are expecting it to be.  Trust me, it is not a convenient, pocket sized tool by any stretch of the imagination.

The Sync I is probably too big to go in a watch pocket.  When my pants are done in the wash I'll check and confirm that for you, but I think it's safe to say that it is too wide for that.

However, it also has other mounting options that the Mini doesn't, and has more functions, so that is well worth keeping in mind as well.

I was kind of afraid of that. I would like to have a tool that is still in production to replace my mini tools (the one I carry and the two backups...  ). I would be totally cool with it having more functions, maybe something like one of our members designed (I forget his nickname (maybe evil...?), but the guy has a ton of cool mods in the mod section, and the mod in question is a mini on masive dose of steroids... ). But it has to fit the fifth pocket of my jeans or the deal is off as I like to conceal carry my EDC. :D

Good news, I was wrong!

The Sync I fits rather nicely into the watch pocket of my jeans.

Yes.  We went out to dinner last night at a friend's place and Megan insisted that, while it wasn't considered formal, I should at least wear pants.

The only reason to wear pants is just for the pockets. If we didn't have gear to carry we would still be wearing tights like the dudes in a Renaissance painting....but if we were Renaissance dudes we would be carrying awesome rapiers, daggers and moustache wax.
