Presenting the Bodacious Boxes
Reply #38 on: May 09, 2018, 06:12:44 PM
I like SAKs in boxes when possible, and if it has the original receipt, that is the ultimate for my collecting style.
I hope this topic will be embraced and you might consider sharing photos of your boxes as well.
I'll start off with two photos I had previously taken:
Some Victorinox:

Some Wenger:

Perhaps you have boxes or clamshells or cardboard packs, they're all encouraged in the BB thread!  :tu:

I'm a box-keeper too.  I have some that I bought in high school, so late-70's/early 80's for me.  I recently organized and cataloged my small collection and was surprised to see that I had saved the sales receipts for a good half-dozen or so.

Here's a pic of some of my boxes.  I have a few more that I could get out and take a family photo of later.

I've got some new boxes but also 1 older one and 2 NIB Wengers.

The older Vic box houses an original Traveller (Climber without key ring)

This is showing the New DAK (which came in its own box), together with its Woodland sheath, both of which came packed in the big box.

Very nice find. Even here in Holland (=Home of the DAK's) the big 'overbox' and the pouch still in its wrapper are extremely hard to find.
