Can anyone help me identify this Gerber?
on: March 16, 2017, 06:40:26 AM
Hi folks

I purchase lots of Victorinox knives and resell them.  However, when i got my last batch, this Gerber was in it.  I am not that familiar with the various multitools, so I looked around for what model it was.  it looks to be an earlier production model, based on the slide and set up of the pliers, however the blade that is on it I can't identify.  Normally, there is a file where this blade is.  Anyone have any idea what this is exactly?

Thanks for any help you can provide....much appreciated!

Matthew

That's an early "Mr Pinchy". Back then Gerber was quite keen on their "large awl" so it featured on their full size MTs (it was on the MPT as well)

For more info on these early Gerbers try this link:

That is an Old One...It looks like it still has the Bolts that can be removed with an Allen Wrench like my First One..(Which I broke by being abusive) then got replaced with non removeable fasteners on the slide for the Pliers
