Snap-ON SMT97R
on: March 17, 2017, 02:27:44 AM
So has anyone noticed, or perhaps purchased, this Snap-On branded MP600?

Quite stylish, and it appears to have the same loadout as a Pro Scout.

If only it didn't cost $150 off the Snap-On site  :o

Pretty sure someone here bought one a while back. Now to remember where I saw it.

I have a couple on their way to me ( I like coloured Gerber MP600s), but it will probably be a while before I actually have them in hand.  I bought them as used on ebay (and paid a lot less than Snap-On are asking for them).

Nice! I like the looks of it, but that MSRP is a bit silly. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts when you get it in hand.

Wow! :o This would be a killer MP600 variant if it wasn't so expensive from Snap-on. This is almost the same tool selection I have in my modded Gerber save for the fully serrated blade. I would definitely pay a $20+ premium over the Pro Scout to get this tool in stainless, more with a tool kit. The MP600 sight tool knife looks much better than the standard warncliff. It's like an MP600 "Greatest Hits" MT!

Here's a review on YouTube. The color looks very good on the video.

The layout of these tools might work better than my FrankenGerber... I might switch things around to match how Gerber has them arranged.

I just got mine in. Killer tool. A fine mix between the Pro Scout and Sight Tool. It is also super attractive and would be easy to find if you leave it laying around. :multi:

Thank you, Sam!
I made the seller a $73 offer, and with $7 shipping, made it a bit more than half the retail price.  :)
