I met my wife Danni 23 years ago and was instantly hooked.  :drool: :tu: :cheers:
Well tonight's a little different... :facepalm:
Treble hooks are not as much fun... :whistle:

I was planning on starting my Rebar challenge on the first, but got an early start.

Actually it was a small black bass and the lure I was using had double treble hooks.  The bass flipped in such a way as to get hooked in the tail as well as the mouth.  When I remove the hook from his tail he flipped causing the hook to lodge in My middle finger.

I caught the fish, the fish caught the finger Birdy!!   :whistle: 

Fortunately Danni was with me and she was able to cut the line hold the lure and fish while I cut the eye of the hook to keep it from lodging any deeper.  Still had to cut the hook again at the ER so the dock could push it through.  She clouldn't get a clean cut to remove it due to the angle and how deep it was imbeded.
The Rebar cutters worked well on the hardened hook.

Thanks Mags.  I did get a good nights rest.  Here's the current new look.  Not so bad, and surprisingly enough it really doesn't hurt. Just have to keep it clean.

Just dawned on me this along with a pic of the previous nights catch should qualify for the fishing badge.
So here is the catch I did get a photo of, and the repaired lure I used for everthing.  Yes I already replaced the treble hook I had to cut off last night.

The closest place to fish near where we live is a Small Lake pond about 3 hours away, so when on vacation at a real Lake (LAKE TEXOMA) I'm going to get in all the fishing I can.
