Swiss army knife fashion

What's your favourite customisation of a Swiss army knife, such as your favourite scales, do you replace the toothpick with anything? (without voiding the warranty)?

Do you mean without modifying the original scales? Then I have nothing to add.

Otherwise, I always have a 58mm with me and modified the scales to plus scales, i.e. with a pen, pin, toothpick and tweezers. Perfect for me and I no longer need to worry about making scale tools with the larger knife.

No, like what's your favourite scale cooler, transparency, plus or not plus? cooler of tweezers etc.

But still cool scales.

Um, a SAK is always cool! Believe me, there's nothing cooler than carrying a SAK!  ;)  :climber:  :SAKnight:
The color and material of the scales are personal preferences. For me, used red OC Alox are the coolest thing ever!
Followed by silver, black or bicolor alox and titanium scales. With Cellidor non-transparent red, black, white and yellow

I've never owned an OC, but I do admire them.

Green Alox are my very favorite of all the SAKs I own. Most of my 91mm carriers are red or black. One of the red ones is slated to receive some blue scales; I've long wanted a blue or yellow SAK to carry around.

A great mod, Sneider, although a small SAK!

How did you achieve it? O.k., considering the pen side, you dremeled away at the curve to get a cutout for the top of the pin. The cutout for the pin possibly drilled or caused by a hot wire. But the other scale looks like it's originally meant to be in this way, though the tw / tp channels in 58mm scales are running fore / aft, not at an angle. Maybe filled the channels up with epoxy, and reground? It looks so clean, even magnified :tu:

Great work!
Best regards and stay safe,

Wolfgang
