Those blue scales really bring it to life.
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

Rocking my newest Tinker today, the scales look excellent. The back ones say "I want to believe".

Thanx!

No, it is a post production Kramer from the '90. I'm currently searching for more information, but for now it seems that Schaller made this in Czech republic from parts of Kramer and ESP.

Crazy question but how hard would it be to swap a serrated main blade onto a Super Tinker?
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

I don't see a difference except for blade type.  My mods consist of swapping lanyards lol but it should be - take plain blade off, put serrated Weekender on and re- assemble, yes?

I can't participate in Tinker Tuesday this week because I am on the home stretch of the Camper Challenge. But I do have a sort of philosophical question...

Does anyone else think of the Hiker and Fieldmaster as being part of the Tinker family despite the word "Tinker" not appearing in their names?

Because I do.

I agree. But would like more if the "super" and the "deluxe" have totally  different names. Without the tinker in the  name. I love the colorful pallet of names Victorinox came out through the years.

My favorite model. 2 84mms including a nice 80s one I got new old stock on Ebay. I think the 84mm Tinker is my overall favorite SAK, even though I waver some time.
