My version of a Style
on: March 21, 2017, 12:01:43 AM
So in perusing the forums and the internet I found out Leatheman used to make something called Style. It was half of a Style PS/CS. I think they used the wrong half. So here is my improved version of a Leatherman Style. Oh, the blade is from an E4. The following pictures should say it all.

I also did this mod before I knew about this site or the merit badge. The jaws are from an old E4 that I purchased just for this mod. I needed something small for work. It works well.

Yes, it is a tooth pick from a SAK. Purchased for this mod.

We have plenty of them to go after as well  Some are as simple as starting a thread as you did here all the way up to the bit more involved 30 day challenges :tu:

The E(S)4 head swap is almost an exact replacement. It varies slightly depending on the year of the doner tool. But is still a drop in replacement.

Adding the file is also a drop in, no modding needed.

Creating the Style was a little more involved. The knife and scissors had to be ground down slightly to fit the different turning radious.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks MM...

I've been looking at my style cs and ps.. and your mods seems to have more tools than the handles can fit... will the scissors and knife fit (drop-in) were the plier pivot used to be?

Same as the ES4 mod, does the scrapper sit in the same area as the blade?

The straight mods are drop in. Just remove the screw holding it together add a tool, 2 max, and reassemble. I added a file from a E4.

I am not sure what you are calling a scrapper.

Think he means the file.
