A Felix Immler trick for the hook:A little magnet can be stowed in the hook--useful for retrieving a dropped screw, improvising a compass, or, in my case holding a small fishing fly....Magnet (3mm x 2mm thick):(Image removed from quote.)Holding me fly:(Image removed from quote.)
Ahhhh.....well....you might be able to grind those chips out. Just keep the blade cool so you don't wreck the temper.
Matterhorn - like a DT, but with the 60% serrated main blade.
Nevertheless i never been a huge fan of half serrated blades... Incidentally... I've order a backup for my DT, due to arrive tomorrow.... Darn backup OCD.... Will someone please smack me...?
Will someone please smack me...?
So, i was in a bit of a picture mood today...Here's the DT with two of my favorite WWII fighter planes, the RAF's Supermarine Spitfire (the most beautiful plane ever made IMO) and the Luftwaffe's Focke-Wulf 190 (Image removed from quote.)Here's the DT with two of my favorite lighters that belonged to my father, 40's Ronson Princess (fluid) and 60's Ronson Varaflame (butane) (Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)
A new set of green scales for a second DT. The DT has really grown on me.
Nice! That Tradesman is sweet! I like the clipped blade on it. And the pliers look like they have a wider jaw set.
Sorry, I dont think I have any pics of mine.
This tread needs a bump.... (Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)

Bumbed with a very nice Ronson!
Here's mine on the shore of Flathead Lake. Mine doesn't get carried too often. I love it, but it has evolved into my "recliner knife." It lives on the small coffee table next to my recliner to handle all of the duties that arise when something needs cutting or fixing.
