I've been casually searching for a manual, wind up, watch, and it seems as far as new, I cannot find much to choose from other than the really cheapie ones.Offhand, does anyone know of something in the under $100 (I'm cheap too) range, but that is still a decent watch. I don't require to the microsecond time keeping. Day/Date not really required. I enjoy wearing something nostalgic now and then. Or perhaps a suggestion for a used model to look for on eBay?And since I'm fairly skinny, no bigger than 40mm. Larger than that, I won't wear. Just too big for me the like. Thanks!
Indian made HMT watches can be bought for a song used on the internet. The new ones arent expencive either. Vostok Komandirskie can be bought with a wind up movement quite cheaply.
Oh. And dont go asking the same question on a watchforum. I did, and after a bunch of very helpful tips and suggestions, I blew my budget big time and ended up with a Hamilton Kahki Mechanical. (Wich I love. But my wallet didnt) Compared to watches, MT's are cheap!
