Can I use this for the month, along the Spyderco Salt (been in my pocket every day for the last 2,5 years, so it's like a third arm to me)?

Now I'm not even in the challenge but that looks ok to me. It would be unreasonable not to allow dedicated tools since a lot of people depend on their tools for their living.

This challenge is probably going to cost me, the MPs look better to me every time I look at them...

I am still new in MTO world  :dd: ... kind of lacks some nuts... but as long as the selected Multiplier is your dedicated MT for 30 days then its all good  :cheers:
Avoid other MTs/SAKs during the challenge but chainsaws, axes, choppers, knives are fine. I agree with Fourtytwo. Let me know if you think differently !


Fourtytwo, have you seen zoidbergs FrankenGerber (hacked MP600 ST) ? that's also gonna cost me  :wait:

I came a tiny bit closer to be pushing the limits of the mp600...
It felt short and stubby ... it could barely screw  :facepalm:

I would like to join in on the fun. I put my Centerdrive away said my goodbyes and wiped the dust off my 10.00 flea market find BO MP600. MP and bit kit ready and able.

I think Alcohol, Tabacco and Firearms should be a convenience store, not a government agency.

Well, it's called a "challenge" for a reason...

I don't really like the Gerber. Long story short, I ended up with a brand new MP600 for free.  Have never carried it.

I'll join in for the month and see if I can come to terms with it. Like a few others here, I am a Leatherman user and the Gerber seems odd to me.

First day of the MP challenge, already had to use it at first hour to cut off two stubborn plastic pieces from a feeding bottle.
RemGrit did short work of them. Now that I think of it, I should stock up on compatible saw blades for the challenge!   :salute:

Day 2

Carved and replaced a new rough handle for kiddy shovel

The cheap shovel is crap so I did not go for any fancy handle. The PE plade is surprisingly good for carving  :tu:
 
I had to another plier for breaking the screw shorter, a torx screw driver and a bigger knife for batoning. Everything else was done with mp600

In this challenge,  carry one(1) Pliers-based or Non-pliers multitool that we always have prejudice against, hate or even fear and post a picture everyday for 30 days Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of an Old Cross SAK for thirty (30) consecutive days. Build your own version of an MRE using off-the-shelf components, post a photo of the completed MRE and store at room temperature for 6 days or more. Consume the MRE after the storage period and post pictures and descriptions of the contents. Participate in a Challenge thread and post a photo of a 'folding hunter' knife that isn't a Buck 110 for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of the 110 knife for thirty (30) consecutive days. Using EDC items randomly selected with a poker hand, post a photo of your EDC or a component of the EDC that got used during the course of the day for 4 weeks (or 30 consecutive days) In the spirit of the Batman utility belt. A 30 day challenge were you have to have at least 2 things clipped to your belt (preferably more). Start a thread and post a picture of your clipped gear each day for 30 days. Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of your EDC or a component of the EDC that got used during the course of the day for thirty (30) consecutive days.
