Thanks all for still following along.
Day 9.
Just letter opener duties today, so we opted for a glamor shot instead of an action shot.  :D
Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

Thank you!

Day 10
Okay, I know I'm getting older and maybe not as strong as I once was, but I cannot believe how hard it is to get the top off of a Vitamin water bottle.
I almost gave myself a blister on the palm of my hand.  So it became SAKTime!
I used the blade to slit a spot where it should separate, and that did it!
Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

Nice use of the blade... hope you were using the blade edge and not the spine...

Vitamins? Must have been doing a lot of browsing, and buying on the bay... found your mini ratchet?

Can you believe I had a spare one right in my garage! Approx. 5 inches in length, 1/4 drive!
It's not pretty to look at, but the price was right.

Day 11,

I used the knife in the background (the challenge SAK), to open the box of the new-to-me knife in the foreground.

Two great looking knives, and it is only fitting to open the box of a SAK with another SAK.

Day 12
My new-to-me WorkChamp arrived.  I like it!  So the first thing I had to do was compare the wood saw to my challenge knife, wow!

Okay, Day 13:

I used the scissors to cut up the plastic from a 6 pack of Vitamin water...an easy job for the scissors.

The saws from the bigger ranges are better as they go up  :o Hard to believe as the saw on the 91 and 93mm SAKs are quite good but the saw on the Ranger is really great :dd: The way you love saws you really do need one :D

Thanks all for following along.
Day 14:
After using the main blade to open my new-to-me Timekeeper, I used the mini screwdriver to pop the watch out from the scale.  There is a small cutout at either end of the watch where the mini screwdriver fits and with gentle pressure it pops right off.
Of course I had to watch a YouTube video to find all of this out.

Great use of main blade and mini screwdriver FB! Thanks for sharing the video. I don't have any SAKS with a watch, but it is good to know how to replace the battery in case I eventually get one. :like: :tu: :tu:
