Good to see you're keeping SC busy. But I've a burning question Barry ...

Where do you stand on Marmite ? My Black Explorer wants to know.

I treat myself to one teaspoon of it every now and then, just straight off the spoon.  It's very sweet, but oh so very good.  You should try it at least once in your life.

Never heard of that before FB. I can only cope with so much excitement in one month having just given peanut butter the benefit of the doubt ...  :ahhh

Many of my co-workers had never tried it before, so I brought in a jar for them to try.  It was an instant favorite!  I generally don't give testimonials, but this product is too good to be true and should be tried, kind of like Nutella needs to be tried at least once.

It sounds good Bill!  I've never had it but I'm going to find some!  Lisa, I actually had some on the Appalachian trail last summer and it was awesome!!  A Dutch hiker let my son and I try some of hers.  Now I've two things to look for    !!  Glen it actually handles pretty well with the pen.  I like the extra girth when I'm using the chisel and the can opener too.

Nice one Barry and hurrah for the fish scaler. A much maligned tool but useful nonetheless. :like: :like: :like:

And if you've never had Marmite .. take it easy 'cos it's not peanut butter ! :ahhh

Awesome work!

I really see the functionality of the champ but I have never handled one I must admit.. But I quickly became comfortable with the four layer that I thought was huge when first got it.. Maybe have to take a look after my minimal challenge..

Anyway awesome work!

It's not failure if you learn something from it

Thanks guys!  It seems big but the added girth actually feels good in the hand.  You're right Poncho. It's the one that does it all!  Here's mine out on the road with me today!

+1 to this Barry, it's one of those things, a bit like a bumble bee, that looks like it shouldn't work/fit but just does. I was quite sceptical of the SC until I had one in my hand and it just worked right. The only thing I say is you've got to have a pouch for it if you value your pocket linings and your comfort  :dwts:

Sounds like he needs an intermediate step or two on the path to XAVT !
