I stopped buying bike tools!
While in Maine I picked up another interesting bike tool at Cabelas. It's the CT-Worx from SKS in Germany, and according to
THEIR WEBSITE it's got "20 functions for touring and race bikers." Since I haven't toured or commuted on a bike in years, I really can't comment on that one way or the other, but I will say it has an awful lot of features for such a compact package. But, then again, would you expect any less from the Germans?
You can see the user manual
HERE.
I haven't used it for much yet, but I can say that it is well built and feels quite solid- somewhat better than at least one other bike tool I have, although I won't mention any names *cough*CCM*cough*.
You can read an actual cyclist's review at
Bikeradar.com.
I don't have a full review written as I haven't had much opportunity to use it, but here are some pictures I took, for what that's worth!
It is a little bulky for carrying though, and you would need to leave it in a bag as it has no sheath and no lanyard or other tie down points, so don't throw out the fanny pack just yet!
Still, it has an impressive array of features that could easily be transposed to regular duty, not just bike related jobs.
